With a name like "Small Black Door" it's hard to imagine that this gallery wouldn't become a neighborhood curiosity. "Post Acid" is a group show that delves into the myth and influence of psychedelic drugs on Post- Modern visual culture. From performance to video and photography, the eccentric and obsessive tendencies that were enhanced by drugs are explored. This program also includes an interview with Matthew Mahler, one of the founding partners of the gallery, discussing their program and the changes in the area.
