In his efforts to keep viewers on the cutting edge of Brooklyn developments, James Kalm popped into do reconnaissance on the new Tomkins Project, at 127 Tompkins Avenue, for "Ritual Aesthetics" curated by Progress Report (Kris Chatterson and Vince Contarino). Despite our ever evolving high tech world, for many, there remains a basic human desire for "ritual". With works by Michael Bühler-Rose, Vincent Como, Chris Gentile, Tamara Gonzales and a performance by Irvin Moranzan.
