The artist Llym Foulkes is an almost mythic figure in the Southern California art scene. Having a career that took off in the early 60s, with the legendary Ferus Gallery, he's been in and out of fashion, but has maintained a consistent practice that pushes the boundaries of painting. This exhibition presents a broad view covering nearly forty years of his landscape works, and pays special attention to those works depicting rocks.
