Alexander Hacke has been invited to participate on a panel discussing movie-scores as part of the event GERMAN FILM MUSIC in Cannes.

Crime & The City Solution The legendary band Alexander Hacke played in from 1986-1992 have reformed and just finished recording a new album for Mute Records in Detroit.
They have now launched a PledgeMusic project to finance their upcoming tour, offering rare band memorabilia, unique art objects and merchandise to put up a spectacular show.

Alexander Hacke and Danielle de Picciotto will be performing "The Glasshouse", an experimental silent movie in which Danielle recounts her last bizarre night in NYC in 1986 which turned into a nightmarish dinner filled with terror, strengthening her resolution to leave the crime and drug riddled city of the eighties and also serving as a metaphor for the growing fear and paranoia our society is experiencing post 9/11. Her film and spoken word is accompanied and highlighted by the spectacular film score by Alexander Hacke, who performs live to the film scenes at
The Bijou Art Cinema, Eugen, Oregon  at 7:30pm.
