With this, David Lynch's first exhibition in New York in over twenty years, viewers will have an opportunity to evaluate his graphic production including paintings, watercolors, photographs, sculpture and video. Presenting three large tableau works, each prodigiously framed and boxed under glass, these works pay homage to Francis Bacon, while having an added content of twisted humor and nostalgia for the cartoons of the 1950s. Smaller works display the artist's visceral laceration of his media and include found objects, electric light bulbs and snippets of cutsie text.
